2 firsts by Beethoven will be performed by the Queensboro Symphony Orchestra at Whitestone’s Moakyang Presbyterian Church on August 26th at 6:00pm to perform Beethoven’s 1st Symphony and 1st Piano Concerto. Maestro Dong Hyun Kim will lead the orchestra. No tickets are necessary but a free-will offering will gratefully be accepted.

Special Easter concert: Handel's Messiah Part 3 performed by Queensboro Symphonic Choir and Symphony Orchestra!

The Queensboro Symphonic Choir and Symphony Orchestra celebrate the Easter season with a special concert as they come to Whitestone’s beautiful Moakyang Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, April 4th at 8pm to present Part 3 of G.F. Handel’s celebrated masterpiece Messiah. Maestro Dong-hyun Kim will lead the choir and orchestra. No tickets are necessary but a free-will offering will graciously be accepted.

The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra will present a New Year’s concert at Mary’s Nativity Church this Sunday, Jan. 28th at 7:30pm. They’ll ring in the new year in classic style with J.S.Bach’s delightful Violin Concerto in E featuring violinist Chern Hwei Fung and Beethoven's Choral Fantasy with pianist Hiroshige Sayaka and Queensboro Symphonic Choir. Maestro Dong-Hyun Kim will lead the orchestra. No tickets are necessary but a free-will offering will graciously be accepted.

Classical Christmas with the Queensboro Symphony Orchestra!
The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra will present a Classical Christmas concert on Wednesday, December 20th as the opening of a new concert series at Whitestone’s Moakyang Presbyterian Church. You’ll hear beloved Christmas carols such as O Holy Night, the popular Pachelbel Canon and J.S. Bach’s festive Brandenburg Concerto No.4 featuring violinist Kae Nakano with flutists Noriko Omichi and Ti Chung. Maestro Dong-hyun Kim will lead the orchestra. No tickets are necessary but a free-will offering will graciously be accepted.

Per-New Year's Eve Concert!!

The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra will present a pre-New Year’s Eve concert at Mary’s Nativity Church on Sat. Dec. 30th at 8:00pm. They’ll ring in the new year in classic style with Grieg’s delightful Holberg Suite, Wagner’s voluptuous Siegfried Idyll and J.S. Bach’s heavenly Concerto for 2 violins featuring Maki Omoriand Saki Kaneko. Maestro Dong-hyun Kim will lead the orchestra. No tickets are necessary but a free-will offering will graciously be accepted.

The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra will perform works by Beethoven, Brahms and Elgar at West Side Presbyterian Church on Sunday, November 5 at 3 pm as part of the West Side Concert Series. 

The performance, under the direction of Conductor Dong Hyun Kim, will include: Ludwig van Beethoven’s Triple Concerto in C Major, Op. 56; Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C Minor; and Edward Elgar’s Nimrod from Enigma Variations. This concert will be dedicated to Jina Choi, the Queensboro Symphony Orchestra’s concert mistress, who passed away in July.

Soloists: Jee Sun Lee, violin SinHwa Lee, cello; and Sohyun Ahn, piano.

The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra comes to Mary’s Nativity Church on Sun. October 8th at 7:30pm as they're joined by guitarist Kenneth Kam in a rare N.Y. appearance to perform the U.S. premier of the guitar concerto Hachiko by Fabrizio Ferraro. Both artists have received critical acclaim internationally. Also on the program is Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3 featuring the orchestra's own Hanako Miyajima and Brahms' monumental Symphony No. 1. Maestro Dong-Hyun Kim will lead theorchestra. No tickets are necessary but a free-will offering will graciously be accepted.

Schubert 10th Symphony premier:Just when you thought that Schubert was out of unfinished symphonys!The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra will return to Mary’s Nativity Church on Sunday, March 12th at 7pm. Queensboro Symphony Orchestra Flushing Town Hall debut 12/11/16:

The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra will have their Flushing Town Hall debut on Sunday, December 11th at 7pm. Led by acclaimed maestro Dong-Hyun Kim, they will be performing a spectacular program of classics: Grieg's legendary Piano Concerto featuring pianist Alice Lu, and Brahms’ monumental 4th Symphony.

Queensboro Symphony Orchestra will be performing Gustav Mahler's Symphony No.1 "Titan" at Moakyang Presbyterian Church. Especially, this is our revenge concert of our March 13th "The Beautiful Demolition" ..Also, our violist Misturu Kubo will be performing "Romance for the viola and orchestra" by Bruch and world primiere of "The Last Waltz" by Sharon Cha.
